The Human Exhibit: Mental Health(‘THEM’) Tour Version presents the issues of mental health in the most profound of method that leaves one in the question of it.
I’M Entertainment produced and curated, The Human Exhibit: Mental Health(‘THEM’) to raise awareness of mental issues and abolish some stigmas of mental health. Around 450 million people worldwide suffer from mental or neurological conditions, according to the World Health Organisation. This makes mental disorders the leading cause of health and disability in the world.
So, what is The Human Exhibit? Think of the famous Van Gogh pieces but now in a 4D setting with real-life performance in front of you, using difference performance method from dance, monologues, dialogues and physical movement in a glass display. The exhibit journeys through the minds and lives of different health issues from depression, schizophrenia, bipolar, borderline personality disorder to anxiety.The audience will be surrounded by the space and performances thus making you feel that you are in a heartfelt art gallery that will eventually leave you with deep thoughts.
In early February of 2018, ‘THEM’ was first performed and it was a hit and now they are going on a Tour, starting from the MAPFest 2018. They will be performing at Black Box, Publika on Saturday, 7th April on 3 pm and Sunday, 8th April at 8:30 pm.
Tickets price for the tour version are not fixed and you can pay what you can. All the donations will go to the RELATE Malaysia in helping their crowdfunding of creating an online mental health diagnostic tool in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. the seats are limited so if you want to purchase the ticket here.
