Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur and Publika bring La Fête de la Musique at The Square, Publika on June 23 from 2 pm onwards!
Back in the days, La Fête de la Musique (Music Day in French) is an event that was initiated in 1982 in France to connect people and music to the streets. The reception was so good that Music Day is held annually across the globe in over 700 cities in 120 countries. What exactly happens on this day, you may wonder. Essentially, anyone and everyone is free to play any kind of music anywhere, which makes this event lively and a social one for all.
Taking cues from other countries, Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur and Publika bring La Fête de la Musique tomorrow at The Square, Publika on June 23 from 2 pm to 11 pm. The best part? It will cost you nothing as admission is free.
La Fête de la Musique features a great lineup of musicians who are geared to set the stage on fire, including our favourite rock band, The Midnight Fusic (you can learn more about them here). Also, there will be plenty of food stalls during the event, make sure to keep yourself hydrated and belly filled with yummies all through-out the event. Check the poster below for more information :
